Lymphoma

Hello , I'm new to the site/ forum so apologies if I sound confused.

I have just had results from a biopsy on a mess in my abdomen which was a suspected g.I.s.t. However the result now shows it's Lymphoma and I'm feeling scared. Just which type I do not yet know. My gist nurse has not arranged for the DMT team to discuss me at their next meeting for lymphoma and has notified the Hemotoligy dept to arrange an appointment for me to see where I go from here. Any advice from you kind guys will be helpful.

    I'm sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis. It's obviously a very difficult time for you at the moment and until you have some further information about the type of lymphoma and what the next steps are with treatment it's understandable that you may be feeling anxious and confused. 

    It can help to talk things through with someone and I'd suggest giving our nurses a call. I'm sure they will help with any information, advice, and support that they can. They may also be able to help you think about the types of questions you may want to ask at your next appointment. The nurses are available Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm on 0808 800 4040.
