  • Hello sparrow13 and a warm welcome to Cancer Chat!

I hope your mum had a good birthday even though poor her she is in hospital so it must be a really difficult time for you at the moment. It's so sad that they won't offer her treatment for lung cancer because of her health and it must be incredibly hard to talk to your mum about this. I am sure your mum appreciates though having you by her side giving her the motivation to keep on fighting.

If you ever felt like talking to one of our nurses about this, feel free to give them a call on this free number 0808 800 4040 - their line is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

I hope you will get to talk to others here who have been in a similar situation before and that they will be along shortly to share their story with you.

    Best wishes,
