I was also diagnosed mid April and my mastectomy is this Wednesday. I totally understand your anxiety around waiting for the date, I was exactly the same. Have you tried ringing your Consultants Secretary and your breast care nurse to chase it up? I only had my pre-op once I had my operation date confirmed, if youve had your pre-op already I would think your operation must be planned soon.

Thank you Stlucia, yes I thought I would hear soon, had the pre op appointment on 3 June so every day I wait for the post but nothing so far. The nurse I saw did say it was particularly busy at the moment but when I last saw my consultant he said it should be the end of June. 

In the meantime I grow more anxious that the cancer is growing.
