Mastectomy looming

Hi

I'm newly diagnosed with Grade 2 Lobular breast cancer and are due to have mastectomy on Wed 16  June with a reconstruction too. I'm just not sure how I'm going to feel when its happened, all I know at the moment is I'm scared, literally from day of diagnosis to the op is 26 days so not much time to get my head around it.

Any advice would be appreciated

    I am due to have a mastectomy on the 16th June too. As each day goes past my anxiety grows so I can appreciate how you are feeling. Not sure I have any constructive advice but just wanted to send you a virtual high five and best wishes too.

    Thank you for replying to me,  its a very anxious time for both of us, sending you all the luck in the world and know we are brave in whats happening to us. Do u have to go and have the blue dye ? Mine is happening on Tuesday afternoon.

    Yes I have an appointment Tuesday afternoon too to have the injection of radioactive tracer.
