I'm new to breast cancer though I had Non Hodgkin Lymphoma 6 years ago . I've had a mastectomy and auxiliary lymph nodes removed and am still in a lot of pain but I'm seeing the oncologist this week as have been told I need chemo then radiotherapy. How long after mastectomy did anyone start chemo? I was so ill with the chemo last time that I feel I need to build up more strength before it starts but am not sure whether a delay will cause problems .
