TC chemo infusion got halted due to a reaction.

Hi,

I got my 1st chemo session of TC chemo and it had to be aborted after I took a reaction. I was fine with cyclophosphamide but when it came to taxotere my throat closed I got all wheezy and the spasms I got up my back were unbearable.

Has anyone else experienced a reaction to chemo and if so what was the plan afterwards. Did your treatment change?

My oncologist wasn't available yesterday so I was sent home but now left wondering what happens next?

Any advice would be appreciated

    I'm so sorry to hear about your recent reaction to taxotere. I can imagine that it was an incredibly scary experience for you. I do hope that you're feeling OK now. 

    I'm sure that we will have members here who have had reactions to treatments and hopefully they will post to share their experiences with you. 

    I can see from one of your other posts that you're due to have a telephone follow-up appointment tomorrow. Hopefully, they will be able to give you some information about what the next steps will be.
