Advice on treatment for stage 1a grade 3 mix cell

Hi

My oncologist says still 1a endometrial and grade 3 mix cell, wants to give 4 brachytherapy sessions over 2 weeks. My query is everywhere I read grade 3 mix cell (clear cell) has brachytherapy and radiotherapy or chemo, oncologist says Feb mri shows no lympthnode swelling or invasion, but others I have spoke to with same diagnosis say they are having radiotherapy aswell, any advice appreciated

    I'm sorry to hear that you're still feeling anxious about the treatment regime that your Oncologist has recommended. 

    I can see that you've already previously posted in our Ask the Nurses topic area and that they replied with some links to information. I wonder if you might find it helpful to give them a call and talk things through. I'm sure that they will be able to help explain things and if you're still worried, they'll be able to help you think about the questions you might want to ask your Oncologist so that you can get some further support.     I do hope that you're able to get the answers and reassurance that you're looking for prior to starting treatment.
