I had a smear which lead to high levels so needed to have treatment, waited on biopsy I received a letter 4 weeks later saying to go and speak with consultant I tried to get answers but wasn't given any..

Went to this appointment not knowing what to expect anyway consultant explains ill be regular monitored and retook a biopsy again.

The first biopsy came back a cell was cancer.

Had anyone had the sort of same i dont no what to think if cancer has gone and that's it now.

    Hopefully some of our members who have been in a similar position will get back to you soon but in the meantime I just wanted to give you our cancer nurses telephone number as they may be able to help. They have a lot of knowledge about the cervical screening process including what happens next so if you'd like to get their thoughts on this do be sure to give them a call on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m.

    Thanks for the reply..

    I'm being told by others if was serious I would have been called in by now to start treatment and I havnt yet so no news is good news and mdt have to be held for every patient so I could be just talked about and just been seen regular..

    I'm hoping this is about right please correct me tho if wrong.

    Moderators are not medically trained so unfortunately I can't answer this question Sassy but if you give our cancer nurses a call tomorrow on the number I gave you in my previous post, they should be able to help and hopefully put your mind at ease.
