Hello,
There is medication to treat your problems but you need to seek medical advice instead of asking on the forum, as so much depends on what you are going through with Chemotherapy?.
Phone the help lines you have been given and let them know about your cramps and pain, there are qualified people to actually talk to and help guide you through what to do.
Best Wishes
[@Dalebag91] Hi Dalebag, I started with mild (ish) stomach cramps on chemo 1, that morphed into dreadful stomach cramps by day three of chemo 2, luckily I had mentioned them pre chemo 2 and was prescribed Buscopan 10mg by the Onco in readiness for cycle 2, those tablets completely nipped it in the bud 100%. No back ache at all though. Do get onto the chemo unit, if you don’t t get any joy from the receptionist ask for your Oncos’ secretarys’ phone number, they’ll sort you out between them, tell them it’s urgent - it is incredibly painful. Or if the chemo unit is not local get onto your doctor, they may well prescribe for you. These are now being given to me for every chemo cycle until I’m finished all 6. My chemo mix is TCH - Docetaxel, Carboplatin and Herceptin, one of those is the culprit. Hope you get sorted soon, take care, Lyn XX
