Hi everyone
My dad, (59, 60 in Nov) has just had a tumour detected in his lung. We don't as of yet know what kind/stage he has as his bronchoscopy isn't until next week then the results of the biopsy a few days later. The doctor has already said they can't operate as it is too close to his heart.
I actually fully expected this as he was being tested for COPD but I have a tendency to think the worst but I am still absolutely devastated. I really don't want my dad to leave us.
I've been trying to do some research but the stats are so horrible I just can't stop crying and I'm too scared to have any sort of hope or positive thoughts, I'm just convinced he's going to die and I'm terrified.
Please help.
