Womb cancer

Hi everyone,

I have been diagnosed with stage1b womb cancer. This has all happened so quick. I'm due to have a hysterectomy in two weeks, in which they are taking my ovaries, Fallopian tubes and my Lymph nodes.
I had an mri that showed the cancer had gone through my womb walls ar 70%.  This seems to be rather a lot the 70% seeing as this only started in November just gone. I was just wondering is that amount "normal " after such a short space of time.
thanks very much.

  • Hi Juliemarie,

How are you getting on with your treatment?

I had my hysterectomy 1 month ago. It is stage 2 grade 2 endometrial cancer. I am going to have radiotherapy after the new year. I am very worried that the doctor did not check my lymph nodes and i did not have an MRI. How do I know the nodes are OK?  What if it is actually Stage 3C?

How was your diagnosis made in your case?

    Best wishes
