Very sorry to hear this. Try and get as much information as you can. Small cell lung cancer is  very serious but there's definitely hope if caught early enough. Good luck. Harry

Thankyou for your reply. It's at stage 4 its already collapsed his right lung. I think chemo is all they can do for him twice a week because he's so young. Kind regards 

Have just been diagnosed myself with Small Cell Carcinoma of the lung. I'm 66.  Very early days and I have an appointment today with the local Respiratory Clinic.  I am very sorry to hear of your husband's diagnosis and I wish you all the very best for the future.

They gave me the diagnosis when I was at the Clinic to my face.  It was a heck of a shock but I had to simply accept it and move on to the next stage of the process.
