  • Hi [@Shell121]‍

Sorry that your mum has been diagnosed with Cancer, it is a scary time whether it is you or a loved one that has been diagnosed.

Do you know what type or where the Cancer is?

It is always harder to watch a family member go through this, as you don't know what to expect, how to feel, or how to help. You just sit and watch all these things going on around you and want to scream.

The team that will be around your Mum to help her, will be fantastic, they are caring, supportive and take the time to explain everything and are always just a phonecall away to talk things over.

The waiting time is always the worse part of this journey and you want answers now and no-one can give them to you and you just feel things are moving slowly.

At the moment it is going to be hard, the emotions that you and your family will be going through will be up and down and just generally all over the place. Once you have answers it becomes a little easier as you have an idea of how things are going to be, but the treatment and the hospital visits become the next hurdle to overcome.

I hope that you can find a way to just keep plodding forward until you have a more clearer picture of what is to come for your mum.
