Please can some one help with regards to lymphnodes

If some one could please help me with a question I have I would be extremely grateful.

so my mums had 3 nodes removed and the first 2 nodes have came back as cancer. Is there a chance of cancer missing a node and gong on to the next or would the cancer always spread from node to node? 
i don't no if this even makes sense what I'm asking it's hard for me to explain. But if any one can understand what I'm saying please let me no. Many thanks xx

  • Your mum's doctor/medical team are in the best position to answer this question Nicola so if you have/can get your mum's permission you should be able to discuss this with them.
