Puzzled

Hi all

Just before Christmas following a MRI scan my consultant informed me that I had a small meningioma on the top of my brain.Nothing really to worry about.  This followed months of having numbness in the face -weakness in my arms tingling fingers- unsteady walking and dreadful fatigue.

I am due to have a three month follow up shortly. My symptoms remain the same some days I get by other days I really struggle. My consultant tells me that the symptoms I'm experiencing have nothing to do with the meningioma?

Within a year I've gone from a very active 70 year old walking 5 miles a day always on the go !  to someone struggling to get through the day !!

Any thoughts welcome ??

  • Hi there ...

If I were you I'd ask him if it's not from that what is it ... and maybe ask for another scan to be sure .. those symptoms are not normal in an active person even at your age ... l think they look over us older ones ... so stick to your guns ... it's always better knowing ... and at least find out what is doing it ... fingers crossed....
