Stage 4 non Hodgkin lymphoma

A beloved family member has stage 4 non Hodgkin lymphoma. My question is has anyone got this or has a family member going though this? Has anyone been in remission for years? Seeking to understand how long remission can last? We know he will never be cured :-(

    I have Hodgkins (not non Hodgkins) and am currently receiving chemo, the group Lymphoma Action Support on FB are amazing, a very active and helpful group with all different types of Lymphoma. Loads of positive stories and help whenever you need it. I hope this helps
