In my case few case after being diagnosed I started to feel pain on my back on the same side and my doctor told me that is my brain who s playing on the background ..because being aware is there is most probably I have a tense sleep therefore the pain on my back , I m usually a side sleeper but since I've found out I kind of avoided sleeping on that side so it kind of makes sense ..

Just wait and see what they tell you , I know waiting for results is the most horrible thing ..it gives u too much time to make the worst case scenarios which you shouldn't really .

You are completely right that this waiting time is so horrible, and when you feel other things going on it is natural to start wondering is this related to the Cancer.

I look back over the months before I was diagnosed and realise that the feeling hot in bed / night sweats was not down to me going through the menopause but Cancer and since surgery no more night sweats. And the skin rippling above my breast was not me getting old and wrinkly but the tell tell sign of Cancer. I missed them all. But I had pain in my opposite breast and it was just not going away and it was the pain in my right breast that made me go to the breast clinic, nothing was found in that one, the cancer was found in my left. and again since surgery the pain in my right has gone. the cancer was an incidental finding.... When I said this to one of the cancer nurses she said that your body is sending out weird signals and your noticing things more because your on high alert over what has been found. Once you get some more answers on what is happening with you, it gets easier. it's the lack of knowledge that affects more. I was really calm once they said Invasive cancer and gave me all the options. I am 7 months post surgery now, I still get times when I feel I am not off this ride yet, and still being called a cancer patient gets to me. I still wonder whether I am going to have to go down this road again, I do pay attention to so much that is happening with me now, every pain, every twinge and the new rippling that is appearing.

Thank you so much for replying, your words are very comforting to me, you are right, it is the not knowing, I feel better thinking I may be being over sensitive thinking about the various ache and pains.  I am so glad to hear you are seven months on in your journey and doing so well, I cannot wait for that day.
