Hi my partner and father in law have worked together for years! My father in law started to feel ill before christmas he had put a bit of weight on thought that was the issue. Ive never known him to go to the doctors in 12 years he is usally fit and healthy dosent smoke. Around 6 weeks ago he finally went to the doctors who sent hin to hospital for tests it came back he had throat cancer that had spread to his lung and bones he lost so much weight quickly had to have radiothearpy as he had lots of little frqctures in his spine due to the cancer hes been unable to keeo meds down so now has driver fitted. My partner is indenial think hes going to come through it as everyone thougjt he had weeks to live but hes up everyday freshly dressed sat on the couch with his blanket with the help of medication can now eat foods (not lots lots of water needed to help) when we visit you can tell hes still in pain has hot sweats. Its gping to hit my partner hard as he thinks his dad is going to be ok i hope he lives qs long as possible hes a amazing man ive read you can live up to 2 years with terminal cancer he has grandchildren who love him this is my first experiance with cancer makes you feel so helpless thanks for reading
