I had hysterectomy on 28 Oct. It was last Thursday the doctor told me the report. I had a phone meeting with him. At that time, I was too shocked to react and was not aware of the concern of not having the lymph nodes checked and the fear that the stage 2 diagnosis could be an underestimate. 

Since Thursday, I have been reading a lot online, and perhaps reading too much. I am getting more and more worried when thinking about what if....I will see the radiooncologist on 15 Dec. Maybe she will tell me more about my concerns. But every day is a repeated cycle of fear and self reassurance. 

How are you feeling now? Any side effects from any sorts of intervention or treatments?

I have an MDT nurse that works along side oncologist and I ring her if need to know anything. But the lympthnode I never get a proper answer to, or maybe I am and I’m not understanding. Can u call ur nursing team maybe they can help, my thinking is how do u know no travel if took no nodes ??? My radiology only answered questions on my treatment so still lost. My oncologist told me what treatment he recommended, on ur phone chat did yours not say ?? And phone chats hard as u feel like u can’t ask proper questions, so u just like me..in limbo full of questions 

Yes, Mario. Too shocked at the time when the doctor called me. He told me I needed radiotherapy because it spread to tje cervix n it is grade 2. A specialist nurse called two days later. She told me I will have internal n external radiotreatment. I should call the nurse again tomorrow to ask more about the staging n lymph nodes. It is really a torture to worry non stop. 

Am I right to say that you have completed all your treatments? I remember you said you had CT scans during radiotherapy. Which part of the body was scanned? Pelvic? Lungs,etc.?
