Stage 4 vaginal cancer

My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 vaginal cancer in December shes had one cycle of chemo she has said today she will not continue to have the 2nd cycle (she's only been offered 2) we were told in December my mum could live upto 2 years with or without chemotherapy, the tumor is very large and has spread to her bladder, anal canal and lymph nodes, as vaginal cancer is very rare its hard to get any information, my question has anyone been through this with a family member and if so what are the chances realisticly of my mum surviving 2 years.

TIA.

  • have a telephone consultation today, but am extremely worried. I have had severe dyskarpsos in 2008 and also abnormal cells burnt away since then. I had a smear September and it was fine.

However i have noticed a ledge like lump on my cervix ,next to my coil last weekend. I have a bit of watery discharge, occasionally with bits of white. I have also noticed a ball like growth on the top of vaginal wall near opening which seems to be visible when take a look. It's not painful to touch as well as the one on cervix. However I have been experiencing fever back pain and thought it was my posture. The back pain has worse over last few weeks and only noticed the lumps last weekend.
