Hello I hope you don't mind me reaching out.  I received the same diagnosis as yourself yesterday with an almost identical treatment plan.  I didn't ask the size as was all over the place.  I was wondering how your journey is going and how well the Chemo worked for you in terms of pre surgery shrinkage.  I am presuming you have now had surgery so any info would help me prepare.  Thanks x

im so sorry about your diagnosis its a real bummer

im a retired occupational health nurse aged 55

At the beginning of last year i had cysts benign in my left breast and at xmas 2020 i found a lump in my right lump thought it was another cyst but got it checked out asap.

3.7 cm grade 2 er 8 positive her 2 positive didnt understand it

chemo for 6 mths  mastectomy and reconstruction

got a complete pathological response however they found a 1.5cm lobular cancer in the same breast so glad i had a mastectomy

on phesgo three weekly and letrozole

advise 

keep going with chemo even if you feel rough unless your really ill eg diahorea

Ask about vitamin d helps with cpr

Try and see a counsellor if your strugglind

im not odd stay off forums all doom and gloom

I'm sorry to hear that Ruth.

Have you been able to discuss survival rates with your medical team? They may be your best bet as they may have more access to information relating to this. 

You could also try getting in touch with the care and research charity Breast Cancer Now.

I hope you're able to find out more soon.
