Anyone had immunotherapy for melanoma cells in lymph nodes?

I would like to know what the process is for immunotherapy when a melanoma has been removed but cancer cells have been found in a lymph node?

How often are you re-checked for cancer cells? Once it's clear does the treatment stop?
