So difficult to take it in - the tests are moving on quickly, guess the surgery will too unless there is delay. I feel terrified and would appreciate chat with anyone who can give me a positive vibe or information on their experience.

Hi Jennis, just wanted to say I am sorry to hear of your diagnosis. I don't have any advice unfortunately as I am still awaiting a diagnosis but I have had a 11cm complex ovarian tumour found back in October but can't even see the consultant until 22nd Feb. They said it looks like a dermoid so just have to hope it is. What symptoms did / do you have? I look 6 months pregnant, really heavy and uncomfortable in tummy and lower back and need to wee all the time. I wish you well and send you love xxx
Hi, thanks for your reply. I am post menopause, had an ultrasound in January, hospital appointment last week, due a ct scan within next two weeks and see the gaeny/oncology guys on 15 February.
I have a complex tumor - 8cms, thats all I know. Guess because I'm the age I am they seem to take it for granted that its malignant and want to know how far it has spread.
I have some pain, distended stomach but thought that was overeating during lockdown. Can't stop weeing, especially at night. I have arthritis so not sure where my leg & back pain belongs. Seems I have had a very quick response compared to yourself. I was very fit, but since the gyms closed its difficult. I still 'do a lot', walk miles because I'm worried that I soon won't be able to.
I wonder what age you are and have you tried speeding up your diagnosis. I think a new rule came into the NHS recently to ensure suspected cancer patients had some level of priority.
Take care and happy to compare notes anytime.
