I'm sorry to hear you've found yourself here, this site is amazing to talk to people who are going through the same situation. I will help in anyway I can and you can ask me anything or just vent to me if you need to. 

I was diagnosed with triple negative grade 3 last May after finding a lump in my right breast. It turned out I had 2 lumps which both turned out to be cancer( they call it multifocle apparently) because I had 2 lumps it was decided that I would have chemotherapy first, followed by surgery and Radiothrapy. 
 

I had 5 months of chemo from July to December which to be fair wasn't too bad. It was split into two different regimes and the second one was was worse than the first but still manageable and I figured if it was blasting the little buggers it could do what it wanted to me. 
 

I finished my chemo Beginning of December and then had a mastectomy and reconstruction on 6th of Jan. I went for my follow up with the consultant today and the pathology came back that I had had a partial response to chemo and my lumps had shrunk and the area around them was clear of cancer and the lymph nodes they had taken were clear. I spoke to my oncologist and I am now going to have 15 sessions of Radiotherpy on all areas even the lymph nodes just to be sure that it's gone. 
 

If I can give you 2 pieces of advice it would be to try not to google too much and I know it's hard but try to stay positive as much as possible.. it will get you through this.

Thankyou for your response. I appreciate it a lot... I have never used a forum before and I'm unsure of what I'm doing. You sound like an absolutely amazing lady. I am just so very scared. I cry an awful lot and it has floored me... I thought I was strong but apparently not. I have a great family and friends, not that I can see them right now, like all of us at this time..

how are you feeling now?

Are you done after your 15 radiotherapy sessions?

Your very welcome, I know how scary it is at the beginning of all this and this site helped me so much to be able to read about situations similar and so many positive people was massive for me. So it's nice to be able to give back and help others. 
 

I know it's hard but try to be positive and don't let the little *** take up too much of your time, try to do some things you enjoy to take your mind off it if you can. 
 

yeah I should start Radiotherapy in about 3 weeks for 3 weeks and then they said the surgeon will want to see me in 6 months time to check the reconstruction and then I will have yearly mammograms. I'll find out from the Oncologist what follow ups they will want when I finish the radiotherapy but as far as I know once the radiotherapy finishes apart from follow ups I'm done :)

p.s do not let that thing make you think your not strong! Your allowed to be upset and feel floored by the blow you've just had. The strongest person in the world would be knocked. Just don't let it keep you on that floor for long show it that your not gonna be messed with! :)
