has anybody had robotic liver resection. My husband has just had and on day 3 of recovery still has pain but is managed. Would like to hear from anyone who has had and how there recovery went. Thanks

l went through a 60% liver resection and it was the hardest 7 days of pain l have ever suffered ,and this from someone that has had 2 new hips and some 12 operations on a broken body following being hit by a car.l had to lay completely immobile for a good number of days in a hammock so my back joined in giving me grief.After that the recovery was swift and within six months l felt no after effects whatsoever,amazing really how the body can heal itself.My experience suggests your husband should soon be through the worst,and l hope his recovery goes well,
