Breast Biopsy results - Stage 2 BC spread into lymph node

Hi my name is Julie, im new to here.  A week before Christmas I found a lump in my breast , totally panicked and went to the Doctors. I was referred to go and have a mammogram 2 weeks after. Long story short , 3 biopsies and a metal ball installed I had a very good inclination it wasn't going to be good news . The lady that did my 3rd biopsy gently told me to bring my partner along to the results. Today I had my results,  I have stage 2 breast cancer spread into lymph node. Very scary times and even though I kinda thought it wasn't going to be good news its still very upsetting. I have a CT scan booked and a bone scan booked and was told I would need surgery after those results.  I have 2 boys 18 and 26 and I dont feel strong enough to tell them yet, although I'm going to have too I know. They lost their Dad through Liver Cancer 2019 .my youngest had a melt down last night because he misses him so much. Any HELP would be really appreciated xx

I hope it's not too long until you have all the information you need to know what's going on and what the next steps are - hopefully this will help a little.

I'm sure you will find the strength to do this, and also to tell your children. Things may be difficult but take any support you're offered, and take things a day at a time.
