Help and advice please - stage 3 advanced melanoma

Hi I'm andy 28

i have stage 3 advanced melanoma

its has spread to the lymphnodes in my neck and have a tumor the size of a tennis ball

had a pet scan today as a shadow has been found on my spine so awaiting results of that..

I have asked my gp and consultant this they give no answers and just advise painkillers I am in constant back. Shoulder neck lower back center chest pain from the moment I wake up until I go to sleep pain killers do help not much though

i was wondering if anybody else has had anything similar to this

    I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis and that you're dealing with this issue of constant pain. Hopefully, the PET scan that you have had this week will bring some answers and the Consultants will be able to discuss treatment and management options with you. 

    I'm unsure if we've any other members here who have been through the same but hopefully if this strikes a chord with anyone they will post to share their experiences with you. In the meantime, if you'd like to talk things through with one of our team of nurses you're most welcome to give them a call. I'm sure they would be able to offer some advice and support.
