Hi Tasha,
Hopefully some of our members will get back to you soon but in the meantime I just thought I'd give you our cancer nurses telephone number as they should be able to help.
They're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m so do give them a call if you like to find out more and get any other questions that have been playing on your mind answered.
Kind regards,

Yes I have. Lurked here for a while but thought would sign up as know how hard it is to find people with these nodes affected. Was diagnosed last August. Currently three quarters of the way through chemo. Then looking at lumpectomy & radiotherapy. xxx
Hey thank u for replying. How are u doing? I have only been diagnosed since nov so all new to me. I am on targeted /hormone therapy for 6 months then having a mastectomy and chemo and radiotherapy. How are u coping. U mind me asking if they can remove the internal mammary nodes. I don't understand much about them xx
Hi. Am doing ok thanks. Up & down but more good days than bad. Down to my last 4/12 weekly paclitaxel so feeling it a bit now. That said it's going quick. When was first facing 5 months of chemo it felt like a mountain. Now at the last month already. How are you feeling? Re the nodes I think it depends where they are & if accessible. There was talk of removing mine but radiotherapy is looking more likely now. Should find out in a few weeks. Been hard to find people in similar situation but there are a few around. x
I'm not doing to bad just about to start my second corse for palbociclib and letrazol. Just having problems regulating my blood cells.. how is ur chemo going? Have u have half way scans etc?
yes I know I haven't met anyone else with the mammary nodes. Been told I have inoperable sub pectoral nodes I wonder if that is the mammary ones??
I have oncology tomorrow. I can feel my lumps shrinking already so feeling pretty positive most days. But same as u I have good and bad days. Xxx
Hope it goes ok today. Chemo has been ok. Not as bad as thought it would be. More feeling ok days than feeling bad. Had CT scan after 3 cycles of EC. Lump had shrunk & IMN was almost back to normal size. Got another scan next week so hoping for the same. Not sure about the other nodes you mentioned but maybe they can zap them with radiotherapy. x
Hi. Tashag86
Just wondering if you found out more about internal mammary node? I've just been told the same as you.
Thanks
Sara
hi sydney
yes im starting my third chemo this week how much didi your lump shrink by
Hi. WestieRuth. I had a CT after 3 EC & it had pretty much disappeared.
Hi Sydneygirl
It is hard to find people with these nodes affected, which isnt reassuring really. I was diagnosed with es+ breast cancer three weeks ago so still all new and terrifying.
I hope you dont mind me asking what you were diagnosed with and what stage? Did you have sternum pain?
Regards
Sara
