My sis in law, Christmas Eve, informed GMB. Phone call and email follow up, not treatable. Husband on his knees. 11 years old son.
what help is there in Hereford. How can we support them? Is there financial support available?
Many thanks

Hello Dorry
I'm so very sorry to hear about your sister in law's diagnosis. It must have been incredibly difficult for you all to receive that news particularly at this time of year.
Hopefully once the follow up appointment happens the hospital will put her in touch with local services that will be able to offer practical support to them all but in the meantime I wanted to signpost you to 2 organisations who will be able to help.
Macmillan Cancer Support are able to offer advice about finances and you can find more information on their website here. I'd also suggest getting in touch with The Brain Tumour Charity. They have information about GBM on their website but they also offer a support and information line which reopens on Tuesday morning.
If you'd prefer to speak to one of our nurses you're welcome to call them. They are back on the office on Tuesday 29th December (9am to 5pm) on 0808 800 4040.
Keep in touch Dorry. I'm sure the community will do their best to support you.
Best wishes,
Jenn
