Today I was diagnosed with stage 4 womb cancer.
My emotions are all over the place. Has anyone else had or have stage 4 womb cancer? if so - any recommendations as I start my journey with chemo. I am feeling a bit lost and upset.
thanks

hi claire, I hope you are well. i was diagnosed with stage 4b grade 3 womb cancer back in Feb 2020 and had surgery in march 2020.this was followed by chemo for 6 cycles and then radiotherapy. my most recent scan in January 2021 showed no evidence of cancer and I will continue to be monitored. for now, things are good and no one knows what the future holds. even at stage 4 people do survive, survival rates are low but it's not zero. we can't control what has happened to us. however, our response is something that we have power and control over. wishing you well x
