So I have my surgery booked for the 6th of January.

My operation seems to be getting bigger I'm just concerned has anyone else experienced this.

I'm having a full hysterectomy, mass removed, gallbladder removed, some fat on the inside of my tummy,

and my lymph nodes in my pelvis. Does this sound a lot or am I just getting anxious.

Trying to keep positive its Christmas so going to enjoy the time I have with the family.

Hi pearl20. I'm sorry to hear what you're going through. I have breast cancer and I'm having a mastectomy, lumpectomy and axillary clearance 4th January. My breast cancer nurse said it isn't major surgery but my consultant said it is a big op. I'm terrified as I've never had an op before but I know its for the best. Have you spoke to your consultant/ surgeon about your fears? Also, McMillan offer a lot of support. I'm currently doing yoga and a few offer therapies to try to help me cope with my anxiety.
