Hi, I am very newly diagnosed with cervical cancer. My staging has varied but I think it has settled and agreed on cervical/pelvic with pelvic lymph nodes enlarged. I start my 5 week external radiation therapyster tiday followed by 4 x brachytherapy sessions but no chemo or surgery. My consultant keeps saying not to focus on no chemo but I want to take every swing I can at it- can anyone recover or go into remission with just radio/brachytherapy?? I just need a shine of hope in these really dark times
