Just wanted to say hi everyone!
I have just been diagnosed with breast cancer.
It is a grade 1 ductal carcinoma, not a too bad scenario I guess.
I am still waiting for some test results to assess whether it is HER-2 positive and I will need to have an MRI. I am feeling strangely calm at the moment, but I know it will hit me hard tomorrow. DRs talked about all the possible options, there are so many things to considering and information to digest! I am so worried about the treatment options, in particular chemotherapy, I hope it sounds scarier than it actually is. And now I pay attention to every small pain or things that looks different...gosh it's hard!
Anyway, I really wanted to thank you all and send you big hugs. The thing that really helped me going through these few weeks waiting for the results has been reading your stories and seeing my very same feelings, worries and hopes reflected in them.
It is comforting knowing that in this journey we are not alone, we are all fighting the same battle and we will support each other through all the ups and downs. I wish you all the best! xx
