Size concern about lump in right breast

Hi

I've a solid lump in my right hand side breast I had looked at yesterday...After being told by my GP it's the size of a 10p coin there isn't anywhere that says how not extreme or extreme this is in size.Please can anyone shed any light on this..I've been fast tracked and given the relevant leaflets

    Hi there, I found a lump a few weeks ago, been to the one stop breast clinic had the mammograms, ultra sound, biopsies and was told it is 5cms I have been back to see consultant for biopsy results and it's early stage cancer but quite fast growing. MRI on Monday and then a discussion on the next plan. Probably mastectomy. I go from disbelief to dispair. However I have great faith in my consultant she is totally amazing. X

    So from the response on the chat,think I'm probably looking at being honest with myself,that this is not going to be good news I'm going to get.I have been daft in putting it off however still grieving from losing my Mum in April to Cancer x
