Hi, I'm sorry as I know this is a trivial query but I'm concerned and not sure where to get advice.

ive just been diagnosed with basal carcinoma.

I have a small patch on my nose, my problem is that I have to wear surgical face masks in work. They rub on my 'patch' and cause it to bleed. It's also quite sore and gets irritated. Masks are essential in work, am I causing more damage by continuing to wear them? I've been told that due to Covid I may not be able to get this carcinoma removed until spring next year
