Thankyou. I’m home now and feeling great.had all my right lymph nodes removed. I’ll get the results of that on Wednesday. I honestly can’t believe how well I feel. The aneathatist recommended I have the op with epidural I was a bit dubious at first but I am so glad I took her advice I didn’t have any pain whatsoever and still don’t!! I’m just so happy. District nurse didn’t have a clue what she was supposed to do today which upset me a bit as I was laying down legs open and she asked me what I wanted her to do. So cold.
I'm glad you have come through ok , I'm sure the district nurse just didn't have a clue as she had never seen this type of op they didn't seem to get much info before visits keep an eye out for swelling in your leg lymphedema is commen with lymph removal and the quicker you see the team for that the better if needed keep your chin up

Mine showed just lie an abcess in fact that's what the hospital thought it was first time but I think that's unusual I think normally it's a red spot like bump that itches
Don't worry either way you wil be fine just don't panic don't think the bad stuff!! easy to say I know but if you focus on the fact that you will be ok even I'd the diagnosis is positive i believe that helps the power of positive thinking is a marvellous thing mine was advanced but I had an amazing hospital team a huge operation and chemo and radiation and that started last Feb and ended end July nearly a year later im still clear no reoccurring so far so good

And give yourself something to do I weirdly made a shed load of chutney and sauces all through my treatment it gave me something to focus on other than not dying !! Just anything to give you a focus is good
