Hi all, had my 2nd only mamogram and suspicious cells found, no lump, had ultrasound and core biopsy, came back benign but doctors had a discussion and decided to do vacuum assisted biopsy, came back stage 2 invasive ductal cancer, with dcis and endo pos, had a lumpectomy 2 days ago and sentinal node removal. Actually feel ok, doing my excercises all goin well just am extremely fatigued. Couldnt get my head round it at first was crying all the time, no breast cancer in my family just couldnt believe it. The ward and surgical staff were all fantastic, put my mind at ease and my nerves. Got a 2 week breather for wounds to heal then back for a wound check, they said 3 weeks for biopsy results then i have to have hormone therapy and radiotherapy,  my anxiety has been horrendous, im also have b12 defficiency diagnosed this year too so have 3 monthly injections for that so wondering if thats why anxiety so bad too. Keeping fingers crossed for biopsy results
