Very sorry about your news, Tezzie. You will cope, as it sinks in that the cancer is the new reality. But it will get better. You will learn more about your cancer, and will have a treatment plan. You can also ask the doctors any questions you want, and can expect an honest reply.

Thank you Harry I think I am just in a state of shock right now, I have a treatment plan and planned to have a lumpectomy in 3 weeks followed by 10 chemo sessions afterwards, I was on my own hearing the news so it is all a bit of a blur, I am trying so hard to be positive but just like everyone else this is something I did not expect, I had convinced myself that it was a cyst. I joined this group because I feel it will definitely help me to stay positive xx

I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I know that this will be an incredibly difficult time for you while you try to come to grips with the news that you were given and the treatment that you will be offered. 

I wanted to let you know that we've quite a few ladies here on the forum who have/had TNBC and you might find it useful to thave a look through this thread and also this thread. I'm sure if you post on these active threads as well you'll be able to chat with others with the same diagnosis. 

You might also want to give our team of nurses a call when they're back in the office on Monday. I'm sure that they will be able to give you some advice and support. You can call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
