My dad has cancer

Hey, my dad was diagnosed last week with cancer of the liver , oesophagus and has spread to his chest . He is getting a stent fitted in the next 2 weeks to enable him to eat . He is 81 but a young 81. This has all

 Come  as such a shock , you dread this day coming all your life

    he seems to have got worse over the past week, barely eating now, no word about the stent either . I'm beginning to think this is all going to end sooner rather than later .im  Feeling so deflated and sad all the time , spending loads if time with him and putting on a brave face and it's exhausting . You'd think I'd not be sleeping with worry but I am just flaking out the minute I go to bed . I'm suck  a dads girl , doesn't matter if he's 81 and I'm 45, I'm still his little girl . Xx

    That's so sweet, that your a dad's girl ️. Are you able to talk to him about all your wonderful memories?

    It really is exhausting, who is it that is delaying the stent?

    My mum could hear us right up until the very very very last second even if he's tired a I'm sure he would love to hear your memories
