Hi everyone 

I've been diagnosed with cancer of unknown primary source.  (CUPS) which is 'incurable but treatable'

Now excuse me if I am wrong but I always thought that 'incurable' was the same as 'terminal' 

My consultant used the word 'incurable' to my wife and I. My wife asked does that mean terminal.  His answer that "we don't use that word here" 

I'm pretty sure this question has been asked time and time again but it seems opinions are divided. 

So any comments would be appreciated
