  • Thanks Ian for taking the time to reply to me and your offer of help. It us helpful just to know thus forum exists and real people are behind the comments. I had my consultation yesterday following my scans and surprisingly for me had worked myself up into a right nervous state expecting them to tell me it had spread. Happily that is not the case. In my tonsil and one lymph as previously known. They had to do an unexpected and unpleasant tonsil biopsy yesterday . Apparently the powers that be want the tonsil cancer proven (other than on the scan) before the tonsillectomy. I found that surprising. However I am booked in for surgery on Tuesday 15th. I am so grateful that I will then have a few weeks to heal befire radiotheraoy begins which means we can still go for our trip to Scotland with my parents. Feeling optimistic and hopeful now. What a difference a day makes. I will look at your blog with your recovery. Thank you Ian.

    Sharon.
