My mum has just had a hysterectomy

she was told on Wednesday the cancer is aggressive Stage 4B

can anyone help me as to how long life expectancie she has

My sister stays in America and I would just like to know if I need to get her home.

The DR says they are leaving her till the end of November till she gets a scan again , then see how it is after that

it's all a bit of a shock as she just recently turned 80 and never been ill in her life x

I'm sorry to hear about your Mum's recent diagnosis. It sounds as if this has been a difficult time for you all.
You've mentioned that your Mum has been told that the cacner is stage 4B but not what type of cancer she has so I don't want to give you a link that may not be relevant to her particular situation.
It's understandable that you're worried about what the future holds. Her Consultant will be best placed to give you information and answer some of your questions but you're welcome to give our nurses a call and talk things through with them. It may be that they're able to give you some support and more generalised information. If you'd like to speak to them, they're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.

Hi jean it's womb cancer , she got a hysterectomy but it's spread to outside the womb
so now have to wait till end of November beginning December for a scan .
