esophagus , pelvis ,ribs both sides and lower back cancer

I know the cancer has spread to quite a few places , but i have opted for chemo given over 18 weeks'

just looking for any tips about coping with this treatment. an operation to remove esophageal  cancer is not possible due to other health issues.

  • Hello is the chemo called Taxol or Paclitaxel?I am on it weekly since May 2019 and some of my tumors dissapeared and lung nodules keep shrinking.Just had a ct scan results and chemo still working.

    Generally have no side effects.

  • I am to be treated with EOX.

    epirubicin.

    oxaliplatin.
    Xeloda ( capecitabine )

the last one is given in tablet form . Two a day for 21 days.
the first two are Chemotherapy. Intravenously. Once every three weeks.

Given over six cycles which is eighteen weeks in total with another CT scan after nine weeks.

that is great your treatment working .
thanks for the info. It's encouraging.
