Stomach cancer

Morning all,

 

my dad was diagnosed with ampullary cancer last August then was given the wipple operation which was very successful then followed by 6 rounds out 8 chemo. 
 
Yesterday we received the terrible news my dad has now got stomach cancer stage 4 not curable and can not operate.We have a appointment Monday to discuss  further.

 

does anyone know much about this form of cancer and what the options are? Thank you.

    I am sorry to hear about about your dad. I hope the appointment on Monday sheds some light on the options that will be available to him. We have information on our website on stage 4 stomach cancer on this page which I hope will answer some of the questions you may have ahead of your appointment.     Hi Lucie,

     

    thank you, I will give the number a call and have a chat with them. 
     

    the doctors have now said perineal cancer stage 4 which is secondary. We just hope my dad gets some time so we can make memories.He is in a lot of pain and being sick all the time.
