e will say this is normal after 3 weeks post op and i will be better soon.

  • Hello Nettypoos

I'm sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis. I'm sure that it's normal to be experiencing some breathlessness on exertion at this point in your recovery. It's only been 3 weeks and you've had some of your lung capacity removed. I think by nature we are not always the most patient of creatures when it comes to post op recovery particularly if you've been used to being very active beforehand. But it's important to be kind to yourself and not push yourself to do things too soon.
If you'd like to talk things through with one of our team of nurses before you start your chemo next week then I'm sure they will be able to offer you some advice and reassurance. They're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.

I hope that this next phase of your treatment goes smoothly. Let us know how you get on.

    Best wishes,
