Ca125

Does anyone have any reassuring words? Over been unwell lately with some stomach issues for example indigestion and fatigue. I've had lots of blood tests done and I've been referred due to my ca125 level being over 100. Not sure how much over but basically I have an urgent referral for a scan etc.

They have said that it may be a number of things but nothing has reassured me at all. I'm terribly anxious.

I already have pcos so was hoping it would be that but with fatigue and feeling nauseous and unwell lately I'm petrified it something more serious.

I'm sorry you've had these symptoms and I can understand the results of your blood test may make you anxious, but please be reassured that this is standard procedure in order to diagnose you. As they have said, it could be a number of things. Feel free to read more about urgent referrals which I hope will help you feel more prepared.

My CA125 was high, it was nothing malignant in the end. So many reasons it can be high and what they tell you about not putting too much emphasis on it is true. It's just part of the puzzle..x
