I just wanted to welcome you to our forum and I am sorry to hear you have been diagnosed recently. I hope the biopsy went well and that you have now got a plan in place. You are not alone here - many of our members know exactly what you are going through and how you are feeling after the shock of a new diagnosis. Don't be embarrassed though and if you feel comfortable, you are always welcome to tell us more about your story - there are others here I am sure who will have had a similar experience and diagnosis. You are absolutely right though - sometimes looking too much up online doesn't help as there is conflicting and confusing information. Stick to pages you can trust if you can such as our About Cancer site where you will find up to date and reliable information. Our nurses are also available on this free number 0808 800 4040 and you can get in touch with them Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and talk things through with them.

Hi Maggie,

I just want to wish you all the best for your biopsy tomorrow. This is always a scary time, when there are so many unknowns. Whatever the outcome, you will feel better once you start getting surgery or treatment.
