After diagnosis of bowel cancer and having effected part of colon removed and appendix which it has spread to - started chemo last Thursday and after first round and then tablets I have been admitted to hospital as no white blood cells and can't keep anything in, and extremely low blood pressure keep passing out. Dr has currently stopped all chemo as he doesn't think my body tolerates it, going to have one more try of a reduced dose next round and see what happens.
had anyone else been told your body doesn't tolerate chemo and had it stopped - what happened?
