I'm so sorry to hear about your sister. I completely understand your fears and anxiety. My mum has just finished treatment for Hodgkins Lymphoma. Thankfully she is doing well and it is one of the most treatable cancers and doctors had described her condition as 'curable'. I know how hard it is as I went through the same fear and emotions but thankfully the cancer that your sister has is one that can be treated.

Dont try and google stuff as are so many diffrent types of Lymphoma - it gets confusing 

My 42yr old Daught-in-Law  discovered she had Hodgkin's Lymphoma when she was 21.

It was a traumatic time for my son & her family, all of us.   It was hard for him to handle this.

When she was struggling to get through her chemo she wore an Ice Cap, to try & keep her long blonde hair, my son was by her side all the time.

She had Radiotherapy too, as she had a growth attached in her chest between her heart ,& lung.

On discovery she may have had this for a year or so. It was too late to save her eggs.

At the end of her successful treatment she was told not to try for a baby for 2 years.

Ok & behold we had a healthy Bonny grandson which was a happy bonus in our lives, especially when she was given the all clear.  Another boy arrived 3 years later.!!!

Moral of the story is '' dont give up,  continue with your treatment, get help when you need it, your renewed life at the end of it!"
