My mum was diagnosed with MDS last December. She started a course of azacitadine injections and has just completed her third cycle last week. Her blood counts show no signs of improvement so far and she has had two weekly blood transfusions. Can anyone tell me how long it should take before results start showing. Also her platelets have been reducing also.
